After reading “Le Sac de Billes” by Joseph Joffo and “Marius” by Marcel Pagnol, we are relishing Pagnol’s life in Provence in the first book of his autobiography. We have also watched all three films. Our small group consists of practically fluent French speakers who have extensive knowledge of French life.
