Qigong is an ancient Chinese system of exercises to gently build and regulate your vitality.
Qi means "Life Energy" and gong means step. The movements are practiced with mindfulness which brings relaxation to the mind and promotes healing of the body.
The system I teach is called "Six Secret Words" and is a medical, not martial Qigong. It's been passed to me, with permission to teach, by Master Marcus Bongart of Sweden.
The movements are slow and smooth and address the five most important organs according to Traditional Chinese Medicine: Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lungs and Kidneys. The sixth Word relates to the Bone Marrow and Stem Cells.
We practice weekly, every Friday at 10:30 outside on the green in front of the sports pavilion in Watchfield where there is a carpark and access to toilets. When it's wet we can move into the pavilion.
No prior knowledge is required. You can practice as gently as you wish, intentionality is key.
I suggest you wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothes and equally comfortable footwear.
Everyone is welcome,
Khasia
